INCOME TAXES

If your household makes $50,000 or less annually, you may qualify to have your federal and Maine income taxes prepared for free by IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers. CA$H offers free tax preparation events January-March to help you apply for federal and state tax credits that you may not know you qualify for. To find a CA$H tax site near you, call 2-1-1.

  • If you would like to prepare and file your federal and state income taxes for free without the assistance of CA$H tax sites, please visit www.myfreetaxes.com/maine. This is a free service to anyone with household incomes of less than $57,000.
